1921 Two cent violet Postage Due (from Plate 4; wet printing) upper left corner sheet of 100 stamps on medium wove paper, showing the very rare Type D lathework along left sheet margin, all stamps cancelled by clear St. Roch de Quebec (AU 6 23) CDS postmarks, and still possessing all its original gum, never hinged. Among the rarest lathework to find and to have it offered here as a sheet is impressive - a showpiece. Fine to Very Fine. Catalogue value over $24,000+
